GoHighLevel SaaS Mode 2026: Pricing, Setup and Break-Even

Updated October 4, 2026 · Written by The Architect, CreatorOpsMatrix

GoHighLevel SaaS Mode turns the platform from a tool your agency uses into a product you sell on a subscription. The question is not only whether Agency Pro costs $497 a month. It is whether your client price, usage costs and fees leave enough margin.

Quick answer: how much is GoHighLevel SaaS Mode?

GoHighLevel SaaS Mode needs the Agency Pro plan at $497 a month or $4,970 a year. The $297 Unlimited plan gives you unlimited sub-accounts and rebilling at cost, but not SaaS Mode or rebilling with markup. On top of the plan fee you pay usage costs for email, SMS, phone numbers and AI, plus payment processing.

Under the calculator’s default assumptions, 10 clients paying $199 a month produce about $1,279 a month in contribution after the modeled plan fee, usage and processing costs. Break-even under those assumptions is 3 clients.

How much does GoHighLevel SaaS Mode cost?

HighLevel lists Starter at $97 a month, Unlimited at $297 and Agency Pro at $497. Annual prices are $970, $2,970 and $4,970. Agency Pro is the plan that includes SaaS Mode and automated sub-account creation.

PlanMonthlyAnnualSub-accountsRebilling and SaaS
Starter$97$9703No SaaS Mode, no rebilling
Unlimited$297$2,970UnlimitedPhone and email rebilling at cost. No SaaS Mode.
Agency Pro$497$4,970UnlimitedSaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation, rebilling with markup, user and agent reporting, advanced API

Prices are from HighLevel’s pricing page and billing guide, checked October 4, 2026. HighLevel can change pricing, eligibility and features, so verify before you buy. It bills month to month with no long-term contract, and a mid-month upgrade is charged as the prorated difference.

$97

Starter

Good for learning the platform or running a small operation with up to three sub-accounts. It is not a resale plan.

$297

Unlimited

Fits when you need unlimited client sub-accounts and agency operations, and you sell services rather than software.

$497

Agency Pro

The plan for selling HighLevel as your own subscription product, with automatic account creation and markup on usage.

GoHighLevel white label vs SaaS Mode

People often treat these as the same thing. They are not. White label is about branding. HighLevel’s pricing FAQ says you can white-label the desktop web app so clients see your logo and branding instead of HighLevel’s. It does not tie that to a specific plan.

SaaS Mode is the selling layer. It adds customer-facing plans, automatic sub-account creation, snapshots, feature control and rebilling with markup.

Branding

White-label experience

Your clients log in to a branded app on your domain. This changes how the platform looks, not how you bill for it.

Resale model

SaaS Mode

You set the price, a customer subscribes on your site, HighLevel creates the account and applies your snapshot, and usage can be rebilled with markup.

The practical difference: if you want a branded agency CRM with many client accounts, Unlimited may be enough. If you want to sell your own software subscription and automate the client account lifecycle, you need Agency Pro. A separate white label mobile app is a $497 a month add-on.

GoHighLevel SaaS Mode requirements

You need more than the $497 plan before the first client can subscribe. HighLevel’s documentation points to these requirements.

RequirementWhat it means
Agency Pro planSaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation and markup rebilling are on the $497 plan.
A payment connectionSaaS V1 runs on your agency Stripe account. SaaS V2 uses an Agency Sub-Account with a supported payment provider connected. HighLevel also asks agencies to connect Stripe for SaaS billing flows that depend on Stripe Connect.
A plan in the SaaS ConfiguratorSet a price, a category and at least one feature. Keep plans in one currency.
A snapshot (optional)Attach one if every new client should start with the same funnels, workflows and settings.
A way to sellA funnel order form or a direct checkout link from Plans and Pricing.
A payment method from the clientIf no card is on file when a plan is assigned, the plan stays on hold and the client sees a lockout screen until they pay.
An account admin in each sub-accountThe sub-account needs at least one account admin (not an agency admin) to add or manage the client’s payment method.
LC Phone for phone rebillingPhone rebilling only works for sub-accounts on LeadConnector Phone, not Twilio. It is available on Unlimited and Agency Pro, but rebilling with markup is Agency Pro only.

To put an existing client on a plan, open Sub-Accounts, use the three-dot menu and choose Switch To SaaS. A plan must be selected to activate SaaS Mode.

The HighLevel SaaS Configurator: V1 vs V2

The SaaS Configurator is HighLevel’s tool for packaging, pricing, selling and managing recurring SaaS plans for client sub-accounts. HighLevel now documents two separate billing setups: SaaS V1, which runs on Stripe, and SaaS V2, which uses an Agency Sub-Account as the billing record.

AreaSaaS V1SaaS V2
System of recordStripeHighLevel, through a selected Agency Sub-Account
Payment providersStripeSupported providers connected to the Agency Sub-Account
Products managed inStripeHighLevel
Monthly and annual switchingHandled by the Stripe subscription workflowSupported as part of a plan upgrade or downgrade
Proration on plan changesCan be handled through StripeNot supported for tier changes, interval changes or both

V1 and V2 can run side by side. The V1 subscription bridge keeps eligible subscriptions in sync after supported plan changes, but it does not convert a V1 subscription into V2. HighLevel’s pricing page lists Stripe, PayPal, NMI, Authorize.net, Square, Adyen and Razorpay among its payment providers, and V2 works with the supported providers you connect.

What happens when a customer buys

  1. You define the product

Pick the plan name, category, price, features, snapshot, add-ons, Marketplace apps, trial or credits and usage billing. A plan needs at least one feature selected. Keep plans in one category on one currency so upgrade and downgrade paths work.

  2. The customer subscribes

You sell through a funnel order form or a direct checkout link (Copy Sale Link in Plans and Pricing). HighLevel’s FAQ describes this as selling subscriptions from your own website.

  3. HighLevel provisions the account

After payment, the workflow creates or links the sub-account, applies the snapshot attached to the plan and sets up the customer’s access. The subscription starts active or trialing based on your plan settings.

You can also put an existing client on a SaaS plan from their sub-account (Manage Client, then Add a SaaS Subscription) and set a special price for that one client, which is useful for grandfathered or negotiated rates.

GoHighLevel SaaS Mode break-even calculator

Generic “$497 a month” articles skip the question that matters: how many paying clients cover the plan fee and the usage under your own assumptions? This calculator treats the $497 plan as a fixed cost and everything else as per-client cost.

Model your SaaS Mode economics

Platform-level math with editable assumptions. It does not include taxes, support time, client acquisition, voice charges or every add-on.

LC Email costs $0.675 per 1,000 emails.
US/Canada SMS costs $0.00747 per segment.
HighLevel adds a 5% markup on SMS carrier fees, A2P registration and a few other pass-through charges. The calculator applies it.
$1.15 per month each.
AI Employee plan per client
Billed per enabled sub-account per month.
How you treat modeled usage
Rebilling with markup is an Agency Pro feature. This option assumes all modeled usage is eligible for your configured rebilling setup.
Used only when usage is rebilled.
A typical card rate. Check your own processor.
Support, apps, hosting or anything else you absorb per client.
Tools, contractors or ads that do not scale with clients.
Revenue per month$1,990.00
Modeled cost per month$711.41
Contribution per month$1,278.59
Contribution margin64.3%
Break-even clients3 clients
Plan fee per client$49.70
At these numbers each client leaves about $177.56 a month after usage and processing, so 3 clients cover the $497.00 fixed monthly cost. You are above break-even with 10.

This is a simplified economic model, not a HighLevel billing statement. Actual rebillable items, rates and markup rules depend on the service, account configuration and current HighLevel terms. Rates used: Agency Pro $497 per month, LC Email $0.675 per 1,000, US/Canada SMS $0.00747 per segment, local number $1.15 per month, AI Employee Growth $50 and Unlimited $97 per enabled sub-account, plus a 5% HighLevel markup on carrier and A2P fees. Check the Wallet Pricing page in your account for current rates before you launch.

Break-even clients by price

This table uses the calculator defaults (10,000 emails, 1,000 SMS segments and one number per client, usage included in your price, 2.9% plus $0.30 processing) and changes only your price.

Price per clientLeft per client after costsClients to cover $497
$99$80.467
$149$129.014
$199$177.563
$299$274.662
$499$468.862

How to read this: these figures cover the platform fee and usage only. Your real break-even is higher once you add support time, client acquisition, churn and compliance work. Treat the table as a first filter, not a profit forecast.

The $497 plan fee spread across clients

Paying clientsAgency Pro fee per clientWhat it tells you
5$99.40Little room for support and usage if your price is low.
10$49.70The fixed fee is much lighter per client.
20$24.85The fee is easy to spread across the base.
50$9.94Usage, support and churn matter far more than the plan fee.

How much can you make with GoHighLevel SaaS Mode?

The table shows contribution, which is revenue minus the $497 plan fee, usage and processing. It holds your price at $199 a month and uses the calculator defaults, so only the client count changes.

Paying clientsRevenueModeled costsContributionMargin
5$995.00$604.21$390.7939.3%
10$1,990.00$711.41$1,278.5964.3%
25$4,975.00$1,033.03$3,941.9779.2%
50$9,950.00$1,569.05$8,380.9584.2%

These are contribution scenarios, not income guarantees. They leave out support time, client acquisition, churn, refunds, taxes and compliance work. Margins rise with client count because the $497 fee is fixed, which is also why a small client base is the risky part.

The costs beyond the $497 plan

The common mistake is dividing $497 by your client count and calling that your cost per customer. The plan fee is one part of the bill. Some items are per agency, some per sub-account and some usage-based.

Prices are from HighLevel’s pricing page, billing guide and phone pass-through article, checked October 4, 2026. HighLevel can change pricing and eligibility, so verify before you buy. Its Wallet Pricing page shows live rates, including country-specific ones.

Do not copy every price into one flat “cost per client.” Separate fixed costs, per-client costs and usage costs, then decide what you absorb and what you rebill.

What you can rebill, and what needs Agency Pro

Rebilling means HighLevel charges your agency wallet first, then you charge the client for the usage. You can do it at cost or with markup.

Unlimited ($297)

  • Rebill supported services at cost, with no markup
  • Covers phone, email and email validation
  • Dedicated email IPs available

Agency Pro ($497)

  • Rebill with your own markup, set per sub-account or in the SaaS Configurator
  • Rebill AI Employee usage
  • Resell add-ons at your own price

Rebilling is separate from reselling. Rebilling passes on usage. Reselling offers a HighLevel service, such as listings or WhatsApp, as a product with your own price.

How to set up GoHighLevel SaaS Mode without a margin problem

  1. Choose V1 or V2 first

V1 needs a connected Stripe account. V2 needs an Agency Sub-Account with a supported payment provider under Payments, then Integrations. Decide before you create a live plan.

  2. Sell one narrow offer

Sell a repeatable system for a specific customer type or use case, not a list of HighLevel features.

  3. Price from your costs

Run expected email, SMS, AI, phone and processing costs through the calculator, then set the price.

  4. Attach a snapshot

The snapshot is part of the product. It standardizes what every new client gets on day one.

  5. Decide what you absorb and what you rebill

Make usage rules explicit in the offer so clients are not surprised by usage charges.

  6. Test the full purchase path

Run a test subscription before real traffic. Check payment, account creation, snapshot, access and plan features. HighLevel’s 14-day trial gives you time to do this.

Agency Pro or Unlimited?

Agency Pro is $200 a month more than Unlimited, or $2,000 more per year at the annual prices shown. The upgrade pays off when SaaS Mode and markup rebilling bring in at least that much extra margin.

Agency Pro fits

You are selling software access

You want customer-facing plans, automatic onboarding, feature control, markup on usage and AI rebilling.

Unlimited may be enough

You are managing clients

You need unlimited sub-accounts and agency tools, but your income comes from services rather than a software subscription.

A normal review asks whether HighLevel has good features. A SaaS decision asks whether you can sell a repeatable system at a price that survives real usage. For a closer look at plans and usage, use the GoHighLevel pricing calculator.

GoHighLevel SaaS Mode FAQ

How much does GoHighLevel SaaS Mode cost?
HighLevel lists SaaS Mode on the Agency Pro plan at $497 per month or $4,970 per year. The same plan includes automated sub-account creation, phone and email rebilling with markup, user and agent reporting and advanced API access.
Is GoHighLevel SaaS Mode included in the $297 plan?
No. HighLevel places SaaS Mode on Agency Pro. The $297 Unlimited plan gives unlimited sub-accounts and rebilling without markup for supported services, but not SaaS Mode or markup rebilling.
What is the difference between GoHighLevel white label and SaaS Mode?
White label is about branding. HighLevel says you can white-label the desktop web app so clients see your logo instead of HighLevel’s. SaaS Mode is the selling layer: customer-facing plans, automatic sub-account creation, snapshots and rebilling with markup.
What is the HighLevel SaaS Configurator?
The SaaS Configurator is HighLevel’s tool for packaging, pricing, selling and managing recurring SaaS plans for client sub-accounts. It supports Stripe-based SaaS V1 and Agency Sub-Account-based SaaS V2.
Can HighLevel create a client sub-account automatically after payment?
Yes. After a successful SaaS checkout, the configured workflow can create or link the sub-account, apply the snapshot attached to the plan and set up the customer’s access.
Can GoHighLevel SaaS Mode rebill usage with a markup?
Yes. Rebilling with agency markup is available only on the $497 Agency Pro plan and is part of SaaS Mode. Rebilling AI Employee usage also requires Agency Pro.
What extra costs should I include in a GoHighLevel SaaS business?
Include the Agency Pro subscription, email, SMS, carrier and A2P fees, phone numbers, AI Employee plans, workflow usage, paid add-ons you resell, payment processing, and the support time you absorb.
Is GoHighLevel SaaS Mode worth the $497 plan?
It can be when you plan to sell recurring software access at a price that covers platform and usage costs. If you only need unlimited client sub-accounts, Unlimited at $297 may be enough. Agency Pro costs $200 a month more.

Test the Agency Pro model before you sell it

Run your numbers in the calculator, then start the trial and build one test plan end to end. That tells you whether your own price survives real usage.
